IR Thermal developed a lab / pilot production line designed for customers to facilitate the developments of new products & methods and improve existing processes for a wide range of converting operations. The line is designated for handling water based coatings.
Our pilot line offers unique capabilities in drying using infrared. Infrared Air, Impingement and Floatation Dryers. The hot air dryer zones are gas fired. Infrared Heaters can be Gas or Electric. In electric, we have short wavelength, medium wavelength and long wavelength heaters – offering the widest choice available on any pilot line. These capabilities can be used individually or in combination.
The product is designed to be flexible for a number of processes, including COATING, DRYING, CURING, LAMINATING, ANNEALING OF PLASTIC FILMS & PRINTING ON VARIOUS SUBSTRATES.
The webs that can be run on this line include PAPER, FILMS, FOILS, NON-WOVENS & FABRICS.
